Education is a high priority for us. We feel that this is the primary reason that the conservative principles that founded our country are being tossed by the wayside. Our schools do not promote the ideals and beliefs that caused our founding fathers to create this great nation. Even worse, teachers actually teach principles that oppose those beliefs in the classroom. And the worst part is our kids aren’t even able to read, write or do math when they graduate. It’s pathetic and it needs to change.
Arizona is allowing illegals to pay in-state tuition rates – This is utterly stunning. The Arizona Board of Regents is actually going against the will of the people and is allowing people that are in the country illegally to pay in-state college tuition rates. This is in direct violation of a referendum passed in 2006.
Reasons why Common Core is bad for Arizona – The federal government is trying to muscle its way into the local education system in Arizona. This takes away rights and responsibilities from our state and transfers them to the national government. Why would we want people in Washington, DC deciding how we should educate our children in Arizona? Especially, when we have several of the top 10 public schools in the country?
