"Are you going to come in here and kill us?" This was the question asked by six-year-old Star Koresh as she sat in her home the night after a unit of BATF men had come on her property and killed six of her friends and family and wounded others, including her father. Yet, this was not the end of the killing. Before it was over, 82 of her friends and family would be killed including little Star.
Many of you have heard what happened at the Mount Carmel Church in Waco, Texas from February 28th to April 19th, 1993. Therefore you have probably heard the media and others imply that the Branch Davidians were "religious weirdos" who had illegal guns, a methamphetamine lab, and a leader, David Koresh, who practiced polygamy and had sexual relationships with underage girls.
But have you been told that there is a report written by the sheriff of McClennon County whose deputies went to the Mount Carmel Center to investigate the claims of illegal guns. No charges were filed, because all of the guns were legal and properly registered; the underage sexual relationships were never proven, the polygamy was a part of their religious philosophy and there was no meth lab. Therefore what had they done that was wrong?
Why were the Branch Davidians under attack? Why were they surrounded on their own property for 51 days while FBI men insanely harassed them? Bright lights were flashed through the windows through the night, and the shrill screams of rabbits being killed were the "lullaby" by which the Davidian children and their parents fell asleep each night.
The FBI tried to use the "religious weirdos" theory to justify what was done. Yet don't we have the freedom of religion.
The federal government seeks to have us believe that the FBI agents were trying to protect the children from their harmful parents.
Oh! I guess that in Newspeak, to kill is to protect. Okay it all makes sense to me now. I guess, when you think of it, no more harm can be done to the children can it?
There were eighteen children between the ages of ten years to one day old. Today these children would be from about eight to eighteen years old. They would be in school plays and little league ball games; some would have graduated from high school and would be starting their lives as adults. But they never even got a real taste life thanks to the FBI who took it upon themselves to decide that these children and their parents had no right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of their own destinies. Their lives were in the hands of power-mad federal officers and were stripped away from them in a single horrible day of insanity.
On April 19th, 1993 Mount Carmel came under attack. Military tanks crushed the specific areas of the Center where 82 men women and children were living. CS gas was pumped into the building by the tanks and CS grenades were fired into the building.
The FBI claimed that they were not aware of the fact that CS gas, if exposed to flames, changes into deadly cyanide gas. Yet CS gas cartridges found in the wreckage had warning labels printed in red which warned of this danger. Are they saying their agents are so stupid they can't read something in bright red? (Maybe they are just color blind.)
As the CS gas was pumped in, the Davidians put on gas masks. Because gas masks are not made to fit children, they were taken to a small room in the middle of the building with their mothers. They were covered in wet towels in hopes that the deadly gas could be kept out of their lungs. It didn't work -- they died horribly.
When the gas grenades touched off CS fireballs, a number of adults, some with children in their arms tried to escape from the building from the back. It was the only doorway that had not been jammed shut by wreckage from the tanks.
As the Davidians crowded through the rear door seeking to escape from the intense heat and deadly gas, they were fire upon by several men with automatic rifles. The muzzle flashes show up clearly on infrared film taken from an FBI plane circling above. (I guess in Newspeak shooting people can be considered protecting them from the pain of fire or gas.)
When fire fighters arrived they were held back because, get this now, the FBI and BATF claimed they did not want them to be caught in the line of fire. Or maybe they wanted the building and all evidence to burn up; maybe it they did not want the world to know what they had done to these helpless people.
Yet the worst is what did not happen to the the FBI agents directors who did this. They killed all of these children then lied about what had happened. When congress investigated the massacre, however, they were able to look at the infrared film of the shootings at the back of the burning building. Yet nothing was done to killers. Oh yes, one head officer was suspended for six months -- with pay. (Sounds more like a vacation to me!)
Thus the killers are still out there to do it again if they are ordered to. We as Americans allowed this to happen. That is even more pathetic. My plea to you is that you watch the video Waco: Rules of Engagement, and see the lies for yourself. Your own lives and freedom may be at stake. We cannot allow this kind of tragedy to continue and still call ourselves "the land of the free".
