MISSION:
The mission of the Liberty Round Table (LRT) is to eradicate institutionalized aggression.
CONSIDERATIONS:
1] The LRT has no budget, no revenues, no offices, no employees, and no desire to do anything that requires cooperation with the IRS. ANY and ALL help offered must take this into consideration. SEND US NO MONEY!
2] LRT cannot accept or condone "help" that arises from acts of aggression. This means we cannot accept the cooperation or funding of any tax-supported agency in any of our projects. Business sponsors who receive most or all of their funding from government sources are similarly unacceptable. Clearly, acts of terrorism, even struck against government agencies that aggress upon the peaceful, are inconsistent with the purpose of the LRT.
SPECIFIC NEEDS:
1] SPREAD THE WORD!!! There are many people who are already in tune with this way of thinking. Please forward word of this organization to any you know. Libertarians, libertarians, anarcho-capitalists, non-dogmatic Objectivists, and individualists of all stripes may find LRT exciting: offer them the opportunity to get involved.
2] IDEAS FOR PROJECTS. Ideas on how to implement and improve proposed projects, as well as ideas for new projects, may well be more valuable than any cash contribution could ever be.
3] KNIGHTS OF NON-AGGRESSION. Although Knighthood is not required (actually, we have no means for requiring anything from anyone), it is desired. The more brave souls who will stand up and be counted, the better!
4] INDIVIDUAL DECLARATIONS OF INDEPENDENCE. This too is not obligatory, but highly desirable. The more of these we can collect (we don't want your original, display it proudly, but would like to collect copies from anyone who will send one in), the less legitimacy there is for the institutions of coercion. These declarations might be even more effective if each person were to write one's own, but we recognize that most people don't have the time and offer ours for anyone who wants it.
5] ENTERTAINMENT IDEAS. Share your suggestions for message-bearing music, reading material, movies [this section coming soon], and games.
6] KNOWLEDGE ON LIVING FREE. There are folks out there who have found ways to escape the control of coercive institutions to degrees unimagined by most people. Share your knowledge with us.
7] ACTIVISTS. Individuals who are willing to invest in the projects. Investment may be time or effort, or for particular activities, it might be goods, services, or cash. No one will be pressured to take part in any particular project, of course, and we hope to have several running at once, so as to offer people the opportunity to dive into something that really suits them.
