Get out the vote in Arizona

This is probably the most important goal for our community. It is so utterly important to get out the vote for every election. Not only do we have to get out the vote, we have to get out the right vote (no pun intended). Every single vote counts the same as any other so that means that we need to get more people voting that share our concerns than there are that don’t.

Unfortunately, a person that knows absolutely nothing about the issues or the candidates has the same power as a voting member of our community. It’s terribly sad that so many people will choose the candidate with a “D” or “R” by their name.

Speaking of Ds and Rs, there is absolutely no doubt at all that the Republican party is far closer to our values than the Democrats. The GOP has its flaws, but when it comes to personal freedoms and liberties it is not even close. If you ever feel so angry at a Republican candidate or the party that you feel like voting Democrat or if you choose not to vote because there is no one that shares your values you are making a big mistake. You should always try to vote for the candidate that is closest to your values and right now that is clearly the Republicans.

Arizona historically had a big problem with illegals casting votes. Thankfully, we now have voter ID laws in Arizona so that should stop a lot of people that are in the country illegally from voting. Of course, there are ways around that with driver’s licenses being issued to illegals now. If we get enough people voting, we can pass legislation that will stop people from coming to Arizona illegally. Elections matter and getting every person that shares our values to vote is the only way to win them.

This underscores how important it is to get the right people voting. At every meeting we ask our members to try to make sure that everyone that they know gets registered to vote and ends up voting in every election. In the grand scheme of things it’s a small impact, but these little things can end up deciding the future of our state and even our country. So please get everyone you know that shares our values to vote!
